Birthday: Roy Ernest Nunn - Nephew - 35 years old

It is my nephew Roy's 35th birthday today - Christmas Day!

He is the son of my twin sister June and her ex-husband Michael. Roy has come to my Mam and stepdad's bungalow with his partner and three of his children for the Christmas and New Year period with me.

He has had a 'normal' day he says, but I thought it was lovely seeing the babies unwrap their presents this morning - it actually made me remember what Christmas was all about all those years ago, when I was taking the wrappings off my presents when I was their age.

He has, along with all of us, had a 3-course Christmas meal what we have cooked. This evening he has had a drink with us all whilst we were all watching The Royle Family - Jim's Crackers Christmas special!

It has been a very good day and although I am absolutely exhausted, it has all been worth it.
