Trainees will be expected to :
1. comprehend medical/educational/ International Classification of Functioning (ICF) evaluation of student with CP,
2. evaluate student with CP if he/she is placed into the appropriate curriculum.
3. develop IEP
4. make practical behaviour analysis
5. define the target behaviour
6. apply the methods for gathering data
7. choose appropriate tool for gathering data for the target behaviour
8. apply behaviour modification methods
Content
1. ICF/Medical/Educational Evaluation
2. Placement of children into an educational curriculum
Education and Training Curriculum (moderate/severe intellectual impaired students with CP)
3. Individualized Education Programme (IEP)
a) Definition of IEP
b) Advantages of IEP
c) Members of IEP and their duties
d) Members of IEP and interdisciplinary collaboration
e) Steps of IEP Development
· Writing of skills which is planned to be acquired by the students ( Long term objectives, short term objectives, educational objectives)
· Determining the support services
· Determining the materials to be used
· Making environmental adjustments
· Determining the correct instructional methods
· Making evaluation and ensuring active participation of the parents providing information to them
f) Preparation of educational plan
4. Behaviour Modification
a) Practical Behaviour Analysis and Principles
b) Determining target behaviour and defining

Methodology
Lecture, answer – question, brain storming, case study, problem based learning, drama, group work
Assessment and evaluation plan (trainer/trainee and module)
Evaluation through questionnaires, checklists and self assessment at the end of the training course.
Supporting training material needed
Handout of papers and power point presentations, prepared scenarios for the case studies and problem based learning, website links, references
Educational Environment
A meeting room/conference room during the lectures / presentations, as well as physical interiors appropriate for group work, case studies, workshops, drama, etc. Also, a projector connected to a pc, a screen, a flip chart and internet access. Where needed there must be extra pcs with internet access, video and audiovisual equipment, board and/or special equipment/assistive devices.
Qualities of Trainer(s)
The trainer should be specialized on education of students with CP. Master degree is preferable
If there is no qualified trainer specialized on CP with these requirements, he/she can be a trainer who has been working with students with CP for a long time and have certificates of certain programmes.

30 hours + 1 hour for evaluation = 31 hours
