NEEDS ANALYSIS
Aim: to determine needs of parents and teachers of children with CP at country and international level.
Objectives:
to show state of art containing current situation about CP and performed or continued activities, developments related to CP in each partner country.
to obtain reliable data on needs of parents and teachers of children with CP at country and international level.
to determine methodology of needs analysis with tools. (i.e. questionnaires, deep interview questions, observation grids, focus group questions etc.)
Milestones:
Methodology of needs analysis for parents and teachers of children with CP is determined at the first steering committee meeting.
State of art reports about CP in each partner country. (8/12/2010)
Pilot schools are determined for implementing needs analysis tools and pilot trainings. (13/12/2010)
Needs analysis tools are developed by lead partner,HEC and are ready to use by project team in each partner country. (January 2011)
Needs analysis tools are implemented in each partner country through meetings. (January-February 2011)
All country reports are prepared on results of needs analysis in each partner country. (28/03/2011)
Report on general needs of parents and teachers at partnership level are ready by lead partner, HEC. (11/04/2011)

Report on general needs of teachers and parents at partnership level will be used to determine content of training modules, prepare training programmes, project web site as well as web-based information tool. Therefore, number of target group for implementing needs analysis tools has to be at representative level of parents and teachers of CP children.
This work package will be monitored by lead partner HEC who will be reporting to the project coordinator AMEM.
05.01 State Of Art - Report 08/12/2010

Each partner country will prepare report on state of art containing current situation in its own country about CP and performed and continued activities, developments related to the subject. It will also include data on number of schools having CP children, parents and teachers of children with CP (03-18 age group) in their own cities of partner countries . Schools are nursery, kindergarten, primary, secondary schools and public education centers.
05.02 List Of Pilot Schools 13/12/2010
Pilot schools will be selected by each partner country to implement needs analysis tools to parents and teachers of CP children and to carry out pilot trainings for target group. Two types of list can be determined for pilot schools. One is for implementing needs analysis tools. In that part, it is important that sample group has to be at representative sample level. The other list for pilot schools is testing and pilot training for parents and teachers of children with CP.
05.03 Research Methodology 24/12/2010

The consortium will decide the proper methodology for needs analysis in order to get reliable qualitative and quantitative data on needs analysis for parents and teachers of CP children in each partner country at the first steering committee meeting. Due the differences between formal approaches on public recognition of CP in each country, the consortium will test and implement a research methodology in order to achieve comparable data for state of the art and need analysis reports.

Lead partner country, HEC will develop and prepare determined needs analysis tools at the first steering committee meeting such as questionnaires, deep interview questions, focus group questions, observation grids etc. for parents and teachers of children with CP (03-18) in English and will send project partners
05.05 Meetings With Project Team And Testing
FEEDBACK REPORTS
Each partner country will translate needs analysis tools into their own languages and organize meeting with its project team to review prepared needs analysis tools and research methodology by HEC. Each partner country will test them on sample group of parents and teachers of children with CP whether they are working or not. It'll prepare feedback report about them.
05.06 Revision Of Needs Analysis Tools And Methodology 28/02/2011
Lead partner country will make modifications on needs analysis tools and will send them to each partner country for implementing them for parents and teachers of CP children in English. Each partner country will translate them into its own language.

Results of needs analysis will be transferred into the computer by codifying. Reports will be prepared on results of needs analysis for parents and teachers of children with CP in English and they'll be sent to all partners of the project.

REPORT ON GENERAL NEEDS OF PARENTS and TEACHERS
Paper and electronic version
Report on general needs of parents and teachers of children with CP at partnership level will be prepared by lead partner. It will be sent to all partners. Paper and electronic versions of reports on state of art, needs analysis, general needs of parents and teachers of CP children at partnership level as well as developed needs analysis tools with research methodology will be delivered to related stakeholders and media.

GR - Greece
It will be responsible for preparing report on state of art for Greece. It will prepare lists of pilot schools separately for needs analysis and conducting pilot training courses. It will be responsible for preparing feedback report on needs analysis tools, organizing meeting/meetings for needs analysis of teachers and parents in its own city. It will prepare reports on results of needs analysis.
TR - Turkey
It will be responsible for contributing to AMEM by providing academic staff and argument for producing report of state of art related to Turkey, needs analysis reports for parents and teachers of children with CP(03-18 age group) regarding Turkey.
RO - Romania
It will be responsible for preparing report on state of art for Romania. It will prepare lists of pilot schools separately for needs analysis and conducting pilot training courses. It will be responsible for preparing feedback report on needs analysis tools, organizing meeting/meetings for needs analysis of teachers and parents in its own city. It will prepare reports on results of needs analysis.
Besides staff costs, country reports on state of art, needs analysis and general needs of parents and teachers at partnership level will be translated into own native languages of each partner country.
