Wp7 Pilot Trainings For Parents And Teachers

Aim: to ensure that developed training modules for target group meet needs of parents and teachers in terms of specific cultural, linguistic and educational context.

Objectives: to test suitability of developed training modules with parents and teachers of children with CP.

Milestones:

Pilot training package containing guidelines, designing of training program for trainers, teachers and parents, methodology, evaluation forms for teachers and parents and trainers, feedback form that will be completed by trainers will be prepared by lead partner as a draft and they will be discussed and determined by all partners at the fourth meeting.

Draft training modules for parents and teachers of children with CP will be put into the project web site within November 2011 and it will be open to accession of related stakeholders and feedbacks will be received from them.

Target learners for piloting are defined for each country at the fourth meeting.

Each partner selects at least two training modules for piloting at the fourth meeting.

Trainers have been trained and available for piloting.(December 2011)

Trainers provide feedback on pilot trainings.

Parents and teachers of children with CP provide feedback on piloting.

Feedback is provided by related stakeholders.

Performance Indicators:

Training seminar for trainers.

Piloting has taken place in 7 countries.

Parents and teachers of CP children have taken part in piloting.

1 draft report is prepared by ESE/IPP about results of piloting.

Trainers will be selected from project team in each partner country. 2 trainers from each partner country will train each other about its own developed training modules by using cooperative and active learning methods in adult education.

Project coordinators of each partner country will monitor pilot trainings in its own country and give feedback to the lead partner, ESE/IPP. It will prepare a list of recommendations for modifications about developed training modules and prepare draft report on the results of piloting.

07.01 Pilot Training Package

Pilot training package containing designing of training program for trainers, parents and teachers, methodology, feedback form that will be used by trainers, evaluation forms to be used for trainers and during pilot trainings for parents ,teachers of children with CP, pilot training guidelines will be prepared by lead partner taken into consideration decisions taken at the 4th meeting in Porto. This pilot training package will be discussed with all partners and final form of it will be decided.

REPORT OF IMPACT OF TRAININGS ON TRAINERS

Training seminar of trainers will be in Greece by CPG between 30 November-04 December 2011. Two trainers from each partner in project team and coordinators of each country will participate this meeting. Trainers will train each other about their responsible topic/topics in developed training modules using methodologies in adult education. They will improve and exchange knowledge and practices with other trainers. They will be informed about prepared training package by lead partner.

REPORTS ON IMPACT OF TRAININGS ON LEARNERS

Pilot trainings will be conducted in each partner by trainers in accordance with selected training modules. They will use developed training modules and complete feedback form during their trainings. Each country will copy developed training modules taken into account number of trainers. Evaluation forms will be implemented to parents and teachers of children with CP during trainings by trainers. Each country will prepare report for impact of pilot trainings on learners.

07.04 Study Report Draft Study Report 19/03/2012

Lead partner ESE/IPP will prepare draft study report containing a list of recommendations for modifications about developed training modules and results of piloting taken place in each partner country. Project coordinators of each partner country will send feedbacks received from trainers, feedbacks from teachers and parents participating pilot trainings. In addition, feedbacks received from web site will be taken into account during the preparation of report by lead partner.

Consortium partners involved

PT - Portugal - Responsible for preparing pilot training package, training trainers about it and preparing draft study report, monitoring of WP7, preparing presentations according to its responsible topics to be presented in the training seminar for trainers, conducting pilot trainings and monitoring them in its own country, implementing evaluation forms to learners and preparing reports on impacts of trainings on learners.

TR - Turkey - It will be responsible for preparing presentations according to its responsible topic/topics to be presented in the training seminar for trainers, conducting trainings for parents and teachers in its own country,monitoring pilot trainings in its own country, implementing evaluation forms to learners and preparing reports on impacts of trainings on learners and sending feedbacks to lead partner.

IT - Italy - It will be responsible for preparing presentations according to its responsible topic/topics to be presented in the training seminar for trainers, conducting trainings for parents and teachers in its own country,monitoring pilot trainings in its own country, implementing evaluation forms to learners and preparing reports on impacts of trainings on learners and sending feedbacks to lead partner.

GR - Greece - It will be responsible for preparing presentations according to its responsible topic/topics to be presented in the training seminar for trainers, conducting trainings for parents and teachers in its own country,monitoring pilot trainings in its own country, implementing evaluation forms to learners and preparing reports on impacts of trainings on learners and sending feedbacks to lead partner.

RO - Romania - It will be responsible for preparing presentations according to its responsible topic/topics to be presented in the training seminar for trainers, conducting trainings for parents and teachers in its own country,monitoring pilot trainings in its own country, implementing evaluation forms to learners and preparing reports on impacts of trainings on learners and sending feedbacks to lead partner.

DK - Denmark - It will be responsible for preparing presentations according to its responsible topic/topics to be presented in the training seminar for trainers, conducting trainings for parents and teachers in its own country,monitoring pilot trainings in its own country, implementing evaluation forms to learners and preparing reports on impacts of trainings on learners and sending feedbacks to lead partner.

Explanation of workpackage expenditures

Besides staff costs, travel and subsistence of the staff of the consortium will be expenses of this package. Training of trainers seminar will take place in Greece between 30 November- 4 December 2011.

2 people from each partner country who will take responsibility as trainer during pilot trainings for parents and teacher will participate this meeting. Each partner country will present its own training module by using cooperative and active learning methods in adult education. Only steering committee members with 8 participants (2 from AMEM, 1 from each partner country) will have one day steering committee meeting.
