Ver. 1.00
BIG MISTAKE!!! The guild gives four rookie Adventurers a High Level Quest: “Retrieve the Dragon’s treasure".
The Adventurers take a big chance!! "There’s no need to defeat the Dragon. We can just steal the treasures!"
Players advance the Adventurers to escape with each other from Burnmelt Cave, the Dragon’s home. The players try to control who escapes first, to get the best reward.
In this game, the cards just show the four different Adventurer types, with no numbers or text.
On your turn, you choose one type of card from your hand and play as many as you like.
Then, refer to the summary card and move the matching Adventurer piece forward by the number of spaces that correspond to the number of cards you have played. This is how the ranking of the Adventurer pieces along the path is determined during the game.
Additionally, when you play any number of cards, you take the same number of cards from the central face-up pile as Reward cards.
At the end of the round, the value of each Reward card is determined by the ranking of the Adventurer pieces. You might also get a Bonus card. After two rounds, the player with the highest total value wins.
72 Adventurer cards
(in 4 types, with identical backs)
4 Bonus cards
4 Adventurer pieces
1 Summary card
(3-4 players on one side, 5 players on the other side)
1 Ranking card
(1st Round 1R on one side, 2nd round 2R on the other side)
1 Dungeon board
Rules
Adjust the number of Adventurer cards according to the number of players. Return any remaining cards to the box.
3 players: 12 cards of each colour (return 6 of each colour to the box)
4 players: 15 cards of each colour (return 3 of each colour to the box)
5 players: 18 cards of each colour (use all cards)
Place the Dungeon board in the centre of the table and place all the Adventurer pieces on the space with the Dragon.
Place the Summary card next to the board according to the number of players.
For the Bonus cards, place one fewer than the number of players, and start from the lowest Bonus cards up. Place them next to the board. Return any remaining Bonus cards to the box.
For example, with 4 players, place the 100G, 200G, and 300G cards, and return the 400G card to the box.
Place the Ranking card with the ‘1R’ at the upper right side facing up next to the board. Get pencil and paper to keep score (not included).
The player who likes treasure the most will be the Starting player. If no one is decided, use any method to decide the Starting player.

※プレイヤー間で相談して、1ゲームで勝敗を決めることもできます。
In this game, play two rounds and the player with the highest total at the end wins.
(Players can also decide the winner after one round if they agree).
Shuffle the Adventurer cards well and deal them face-down equally to each player. With 5 players, there will be two extra cards, so set them aside face-down. They will not be used until the second round. Players keep their Adventurer cards in their hand and do not let other players see them.
1) Preparing the Centre cards
Before the round starts, each player chooses one Adventurer card from their hand face-down and places it in the centre. When these are all chosen, they are turned face-up next to the board. These are called the Centre cards.
2) Turn
Turns are taken clockwise starting with the Starting player.
On your turn, choose one type of Adventurer card from your hand and place any number of cards face-up in front of you. Check on the Summary card how many steps this gives. Then, take the Adventurer piece of the same colour and move it along the track this many steps.
*With 4 players, 7 Adventurer cards of the same type are played from your hand. Move the corresponding Adventurer piece 21 spaces (6+ cards gives 7 spaces).
Now, collect your Reward cards from the Centre cards. For the number of cards played, take the cards you want from the Centre cards, and place them face down near you. These Reward cards will decide your score at the end of the round.
Then place your played card(s) in the centre to add to the Centre cards.
At this time, be careful not to put any Reward cards into your hand.
If there are not enough Centre cards on the table to match the number you played, first take the Centre cards that are on the table as your Reward cards. Then place your played cards in the centre, and then draw the remaining Reward cards you need from these.
This ends your turn. The next player goes clockwise and so on.
◯Rules for overtaking a piece
Each square on the board can only hold one Adventurer piece. As you move the Adventurer piece forward, leapfrog any other pieces until the Adventurer reaches an empty space.
◯When you run out of hand cards
When a player runs out of hand cards, they must take one extra card from the Centre cards as well as the number of Centre cards as they have played. These Centre cards go to their own Reward cards as before. By taking an extra card, the number of Centre cards will match the number of players remaining in this round.
As before, if there are not enough Centre cards to complete this action, draw from the cards that are being played first, before placing the remainder as the Centre cards.
Finally, take the highest value Bonus card and place it with your Reward cards.
After that, you are out of the round. Your turn is skipped now.
Continue in this way until all players have emptied their hands and leave the round, at which point the players work out their scores.
Once all players are out of the round, work out the scores. (For the second round, there is a change in the scoring - See below).
Sort your Reward cards into each Adventurer type, and count how many you have of each.
Now check the Ranking card, to see the value of each Adventurer type according to how far along the path that Adventurer piece got. Multiply the sets of Adventurer cards by their Ranking values, and add the Bonus card if you got one, to get your final total for the round.
Make a note of all the player scores for the first round.
◯Second round preparation
After the first round, prepare for the next round as follows and start again from the beginning. The new Starting player is the player with the highest score. If tied, the player furthest clockwise from the previous Starting player will be the next Starting player.
Place all 4 Adventurer pieces back on the central Dragon square.
Place the Bonus cards back next to the board.
Collect all the Adventurer cards and shuffle them well again (include any set aside before).
Turn the Ranking card over to show the 2R side face-up.
Now play the game as before until all the players have emptied their hands and left the round.
◯2R scoring and end of game scoring
After the second round, the scores are totalled up in the same way as the first round, but with one change. The most Adventurer cards collected of one type become negative! Calculate the values from the Ranking card as before, but multiple the largest set of one type by -1 to get its value. (If a player has the same number of different types of Adventurer, they choose which type is negative).
Now add this score with the score from the first round and the player with the highest final total wins. If tied, the player with the highest Bonus card number at the end of the second round wins.
