I was a child whose parents married due to pregnancy with me. Dad physically made me the whipping post, Mom emotionally and spiritually abused me. I learned so much but now see it like an everyday thing now. I tell them you don’t have to stay and it is not LOVE!!! Love is not supposed to hurt like this. Nor if that person threatens to kill themselves, this is not your fault. Please don’t stay in this nor stay if you have children. There is a way out. I did it with a 1-year-old and made a great life with an amazing husband now for almost 13 years.
