With this in mind my friend bought some CB caps for his .22 rifle. if you don’t know what CB caps are, they are a .22 short case with a light bullet and almost no powder charge behind them. In my friend’s Ruger 10/22 they make little more noise than a pellet gun. They have so little charge that they will not cycle the action so they have to be loaded one at a time by manually cycling the action.
