The mail room contains resident mailboxes for outside mail, cubbyholes for inside mail, cubbyholes for committee mail, cubbyholes for children, and a bench at the far end for packages. There are also two outgoing mail slots located among the mailboxes. There is also a basket for over-sized outgoing mail. Also located in the mail room are bulletin boards and the community calendar showing events and common space reservations. Underneath the long table is a crate of shared mail-order catalogs.
The white board and bulletin board in the common house lobby are for urgent and current-day postings. After a day or two, the posting should be moved to the bulletin boards in the mail room. The large bulletin board in the mai lroom is for community-related news and information. It is divided according to topic/committee. The smaller bulletin board is for out-of-community postings.
Please sign your white board comments so that people know where they came from and can find the right person to talk to. Generally, it's best if only the person who wrote something on the white board erases it; please remember to erase your comments when they're no longer relevant or after a day or so (whichever comes first).
