During the time required to heat your structure, the potential for damage to furnishings and fixtures is practically non-existent. The following precautions are suggested in order to protect items of a more delicate nature. A copy of the notice must be signed and on the property when our Heat Treatment crew arrives.
HEAT SENSITIVE CHECKLIST
Articles that are impractical to remove may either be wrapped with an insulating material or moved to an area of the structure that cool air may be circulated around said article to ensure safe temperatures.
If you have one of the townhouses for which this is relevant, remove the Homeruns Control Board from your unit.
Please remove from the treatment area the following items:
– Persons, plants (including seeds and bulbs) and animals (including fish and birds)
– Crayons, art supplies, candles, paraffin wax, and canning wax, art objects including, raw wood objects, wooden art objects, and handicrafts assembled
with hot melt glue
– Medicines, vitamins and cosmetics
– Mini and vertical blinds
– Flammable or combustible chemical compounds including gasoline, propane, butane, and compressed gasses
– Unframed photographs in open areas
– Batteries and devices containing batteries such as radios, toys and remote control units (including TV, VCR remotes and garage door opener)
– Aerosol cans and spray cleaners containing distillates
– Undeveloped photo materials and related chemicals
– Musical instruments (may detune due to expansion and contraction)
– Magnets (like those used to hold notes on refrigerators)
– Fresh produce including fruits and vegetables
– Candy and chocolates
– Carbonated beverages, wines, liquors and drink mixes made with artificial sweeteners
– Oil paintings, acrylics (art work), paintings and pictures
– Antique furniture with finish or fragile glue points
– Soft vinyl items
– Remove batteries from smoke detectors
