For studio 3 the class was tasked with two projects one being the nudie campaign. For this project, we had to create a fun, Colourful and creative advertising campaign for the leading juice brand ‘nudie’. And following that with project 2 I had to create and maintain a cohesive personality and online presence as Homer Simpson, whilst promoting a service through a social media campaign on Instagram. Overall, I really enjoyed both projects, scroll below to see the work that I was able to produce.

AFTER FEEDBACK DESIGN:
I’m pleased with the icon sketches I’ve been able to produce, this early on in the week, and already I can sense a direction my designs are going in. For my icon, I want to include homer in it, using his style and aesthetic as well as definitely using his key iconic yellow colour. As well as this I’ve been diving into the party side of my project, and I’m defiantly considering using either a cake or balloon in my logo design.
With the feedback received from the previous design, I began to extensively digitalise my icon. I was really happy with how it was coming along, however I got some feedback to flip the swirl on the top of the icon to have it pointing the other day, with this change I believe the design had definitely improved and reads better.
I’m really happy with the final design that I’ve managed to design, I received some great feedback on my previous design which helped me to keep refining the design down into this final image on the left. I really like the shape and simplicity of the design it really portrays cakes/party’s and of course Homer/The Simpsons. As well as this I feel the colour scheme has really been nailed here, from top to bottom when I think of homer, I think of these colours.
With all my event image posts for my four clients, I followed the same process, I would do a quick sketch on a note pad to help me visualise the image, then I would take that idea into Photoshop, start using the paint brush to quickly sketch up a mock up. Once I was happy with how a potential scene would look, I then design the assets in illustrator and then add them into Photoshop with the added final touches.
