Reece and Judo on location.
We split the roles amongst us for this project, with Reece Draz and Judo each dabbling in on set recording across various locations and all three of us meeting in the studio over multiple days in post production.

The documentary was first pitched to us in week 3 and the three of us decided to jump on board as we were all drawn to the story and potential of the film. The director Madison then gave us a deeper insight into her vision for the documentary and planning begun. In the coming weeks we would decide on shoot dates and begin to consider our plan of attack for the process.
During Location on the first day Reece and Judo were involved in recording the audio for the interviews of Amy and her brother talking about the earlier days of the diagnosis and days after she was declared clear. We used the H6 and the lapels while the film crew recorded.
We started out the mix ahead of schedule and ready to complete well within a week. Unfortunately we ran into a few situations that had to do with audio desks not working and corrupt session folders.
It was cutting close to deadline once we had everything running in order so it only gave us a short time to complete vocal EQ on each dialogue track, reverb dependent on the room the speaker was sitting in, aligning of compositions to their respected timestamp in the documentary and setting a sidechain compressor to grab and release the music in-between dialogue.
After all this was complete we then started the mastering process and kept running it until we got to -23 Luffs and -2 peaks.
