Here is the early concept/photo bashes of IceFall in the early stage. The environment takes a lot of inspiration from Capcom's Monster Hunter World Iceborne's environment The Hoarfrost Reach.
Here are the asset I developed and created for the environment,
Frozen Waterfall (Icefall) and Frozen Lake Maya was used to block it out, Zbrush for detailing, Substance 3D Painter for texturing.
Trees uses SpeedTree to create and Substance Designer for the bark.
To create the trees I used the game workflow of using alpha and creating clusters to keep the poly count low. Here I created Redwood Trees and Douglas Fir Trees
