Job Description

I partner with leaders within our company that need to hire people. I work with those leaders to develop job descriptions, source for candidates and interview and hire those future employees. Basically I am the middle man between people that need a job, and people that want to hire them.

Education and Training

BS - Business/Human Resources /// But not always required to get started in recruiting

Wages

$45,000 starting salary and can pay up to $150,000+ for Recruiting Managers with 15+ years experience in some organizations.

Advice

Learn how to use social media as well as face to face social skills. This position will allow you to utilize both areas of social interaction, both virtually as well as in person.  You need to be skilled at both. It is a good profession for people that love to talk to people, are entrepreneurial by nature, and genuinely like to help people.
