Mechanical contractors will always be in demand.  It is competitive but many areas to move into for specialty skills.  Construction is install, welding, project lay out, project management, start up and commissioning.  Service is controls, refrigeration, boilers, rooftop unit, ventilation, troubleshooting, start up and commissioning.

Different each day and sense of accomplishment when project is finished or unit is repaired.

Continuing education on new products and new tools.

Look at the long range goal and also look at all the different directions in this industry.
