The Noun Project is a fantastic online tool with over 5 million symbols to help students and teachers communicate graphically. As long as you don't have to change the background space or color of an icon, there is no need to sign in.
What uses do millions of icons have? Create printable Story Dice, ask students to use the icons to illustrate concepts in infographics, make an iSpy activity to go along with a break-out expedition, and much more.
