The Future of Education

Future of Education

Google recently released it's 3 part Future of Education publications. As teachers and students march towards a radically evolving future, Google's reports are meant to guide educators as they consider the role education will play in the future. Part 1 focuses on three educational trends identified during Google's research process: a rising demand for global problem solvers, a change in the skill sets required for work, and a shift to a lifelong learning mindset. The slide show to the left highlights the main findings related to changing workplace skills. Implications for what and how we teach in the era of AI are huge. All 3 reports can be found here
