The ColorPick Eyedropper Chrome extension gives you the ability to extract the precise color hex codes from any image.  After extension installation, follow the instructions below to launch the color picker tool and select colors from your graphics. Then, use those color hex codes to generate backgrounds, fonts, and shapes that harmoniously complement your inspiration image.

Hex Codes

ISTE Standards for Teachers 2.6.d.: Model and nurture creativity and creative expression to communicate ideas, knowledge or connections.

While students are unable to use ColorPick Eyedropper on their school laptops, there are so many other great sites students can used to easily copy custom hex code color choices. Allowing students to customize their Google Slides with custom colors gives them an additional way to communicate their overall message. 

Color Hunt is an excellent site to discover designer curated color palettes. Students can even choose color palettes from themes such as "warm", "vintage", and "sunset."

Materialui is an easy to use site to copy the hext codes of popular colors in various shades.

UiGradients offers a handpicked collection of beautiful color gradients for designers and developers.
