Re-open Tabs

Reopen Closed Tabs

If you accidentally close a Chrome tab, there are a few ways to reopen. The first, demonstrated to the left, is the right-click method. Simple right-click in the tab space at the top of the Chrome browser and select Reopen closed tab. You can reopen multiple closed tabs by repeating the process.

A second method is to click on the “Search tabs” dropdown menu 🔽 located next to the Minimize tool in the top right-hand side of Google Chrome tabs. Open tabs, and Recently closed tabs will be displayed. Select which tab you'd like to reopen. You can also search tabs 🔍 by typing in the text box what you're looking for.

Ctrl + Shift + T on your Surface Pro will also reopen the last Chrome tab.

Creating Reading Lists

What do you do when you come across a bunch of great websites, but don't have the time to fully explore them at the moment? Add them to a Reading List! Chrome gives you the ability to easily save webpages to read later in a Reading list, without having to add a new bookmark.

Your Chrome Reading List can be accessed by clicking on the square 🔲 icon to the left of your avatar in the URL bar. Once open, add pages to your reading list by clicking on the “+ Add current tab” button.

Pages saved to your reading list can be read without an internet connection 🤯
