Screencastify Submit Setup

If you're new to Screencastify, visit https://www.screencastify.com/ & click on My Account in the top right of the page. Sign in with Google. Allow Screencastify to access your Google account & agree to Screencastify’s Terms and Privacy Policy. You will next need to indicate that you are a teacher & specify which grade levels you teach. Adding the Screencastify Chrome Extension to your browser will make accessing Screencastify Submit so much easier. Follow the directions in this document to do so.

You'll next need to connect your Google Classroom to your Screencastify account. From the My Account page in Screencastify, select the Integrations tab.

To the right of the Google Classroom icon, toggle the Status button from OFF to ON. Choose your account and allow Screencastify to access your Google account.

Follow the directions in the video to create your first assignment. Students will access the assignment and you'll be able to view student videos and score all while in Google Classroom.

Give students the opportunity to become video content creators by having them:

🎥 Capture their understanding of a mini-lesson you've provided

🎥 Teach a classmate something they learned today

🎥 Reflect on how much they've grown in a topic
