Google Fonts
There are hundreds of additional fonts available for use in the Google Apps. To access them:
Click on the drop-down caret next to the default font name
Select “More fonts” at the top of the font menu
Either search for a specific font, or use the “Show: All fonts” drop down caret to sort fonts by type.
Scroll through the list of available fonts, select an option, and click OK
Your new font will be available in the font menu
QR Codes
Chrome has made it easier than ever to share a QR code to a specific page. The steps are simple:
In Chrome, open the page you want to share
Find the “Share this page” icon on the right side of the address bar
Select Create QR code in the menu
Either download the QR code or share the QR code link
Sharing Templates
You can force users to make a copy of a document by replacing the word “edit” in the document URL with the word “copy”, pressing enter, and sharing the edited link.
OR
Give users an opportunity to preview the document before deciding to make a copy. To do so:
Select all the characters at the end of the URL after the final / and including the word “edit”
Replace with “template/preview” and share the new edited link
Users will be prompted to click “Use Template” to make a copy for themselves
Schedule Send Emails
You can set your emails to send at a later date and time.
Create your email
At the bottom left next to “Send,” click the drop-down menu caret
Click “Schedule send” to view the future date and time options
Canceling or editing scheduled email is easy—locate the “Scheduled” menu in the left Gmail menu panel. Either “Cancel send” or select a new date and time.
