Message Summaries
Did you know that Remind provides message summaries? You can find out how many users read your announcement, received your announcement, experienced a delivery error, or have disabled the reception of Remind messages by clicking on the ℹ️ icon at the top of the message screen. To view which users didn't read the message, click on the caret drop down 🔽 menu next to the message summary category.
Class Member Profile Edits
Edit user profiles to make Remind better than ever! When you are in the “People” tab of any Remind class, you will see a list of all class members. If you click on the member's name, you will see basic information like their role or any connected family members. If you click on the 3-dot menu, you can make quite a few changes.
Edit the user's name to match a class nickname
Edit the preferred language that the user receives messages in. If you know that a parent is Spanish-speaking only, you can change their preferred language to Spanish for them (they can also do this to their own account).
Add private notes that only you can see
Add the member to another class that you've set up
Remove the member from your class
Notification Preferences
When logged into Remind, there are a variety of customizations you can make to your account. To update your contact method (email, text, app, or desktop):
Click the drop-down menu caret next to your username
Click on ⚙️ Account settings
Select Notification preferences
Make sure your preferred contact method is toggled “🔔 On.”
