Dear Families,

Welcome to the 2021-22 school year! We are so excited to welcome all students for full in-person learning. It has been a successful start and we appreciate all of your support and understanding as we launch yet another version of school during the past year and a half.

I want to apologize for some communication issues that we encountered in August. In early August we sent a letter to all families to inform them of the team their student was a part of and other important information. We learned in late August that there was a systemwide error with SchoolMessenger. As a result, a lot of families never received the communication . We resent it as soon as we discovered the mistake. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's Crew teacher if you have any questions. A full staff directory can be found on our website.

Last week we hosted a virtual Parent Crew meeting. If you were unable to make it, but want to see the visual presentation you can view it using this link Virtual Parent Crew - Slideshow It highlights the messaging we are giving to students this week. We are spending this week teaching all students the health and safety protocols and school-wide expectations. Please help support these messages and remind students to wear a mask to school.

To help us successfully launch the year we are still in need of some items. If you would like to make a donation we are looking for:

  • New water bottles

  • 5 gallon buckets

  • Hand sanitizer

  • Disposable ponchos

Thank you so much for your continued support. Our partnership is what will make this year successful. We will have another virtual Parent Crew in the near future and will share plans for our virtual Open House later this month. PUBLIC FORUM ON POOLED TESTING

The consent form that was developed by Concentric was communicated once in the Staff and Community Newsletter that we sent out two weeks ago. It was in a pdf format. This is the paper version of the form and here's the link to the English and translated versions. For an electronic version of the same information, we created a GoogleForm that when completed by a parent signifies consent. Parents/Guardians with multiple children will need to complete one form per child. Here's the GoogleForm that has the links to the English and translated versions of the consent form.

Arrival and Dismissal

Student arrival begins at 8:05. We do not have supervision before 8:05 so please time arrival to accommodate that. Dismissal is at 2:50 and 1:50 on Wednesdays. Please do not pick up of drop off students in our bus loop. Park on Deering Ave. Thank you for supporting this plan.
