Casco Bay Open House
Casco Bay High School Class of 2025, you are invited to an orientation event for all CBHS incoming 9th grade students and families. It will be a week from this Thursday night, May 27th - from 5 to 6pm. The event will occur as a Zoom Webinar. You can find the link. below and on the CBHS homepage. You will have an opportunity to learn more about what to expect in your 9th grade year, from Summer Reading to Freshmen Quest. You will also get a chance to meet 9th grade staff and members of your future advisory group - what we call crew. We hope you can make it. COVID 19 Vaccine Information
Hello King Middle School Families!
We are offering a vaccine clinic during the school day at King Middle School for our students ages 12 and over to provide the COVID-19 Vaccine. Like our partners, Northern Light Health, we believe that vaccines should be available to all and encourage participation.
The date of the vaccine is May 24th. The vaccine provided will be Pfizer. The 2nd dose will be June 14th.
To secure a vaccine for your child, please email Northern Light Health at HCHCovid@northernlight.org Please include in your email:
*Portland Schools in the subject line.
*The names and how many children in the body of the email.
Northern Light Health will respond with an electronic consent form, which includes screening questions, as well as a copy of the Pfizer information sheet (a fact sheet on the vaccine for you to review).
We will need you (parent/guardian only) to complete this electronic consent form. If the registration form is not complete, your child will not be vaccinated. If you have insurance please complete that section (although the vaccine is free there are administration fees that insurance covers). Northern Light will not turn away those without insurance. If you are unable to complete an online form for any reason, please contact NurseLynn to have a paper form sent home.
You must email Northern Light Health by Friday May 21 at 8 am to secure a vaccine. Once you receive the registration form, it must be completed and returned that same day (Friday May 21) by 2 pm.
