Favorite Holiday - Our favorite holiday is Christmas, first because it allows us to spend more time with our loved ones, but it also allows the GEG leaders in Guatemala to have a small gathering in person and spend a good time.

"Penedo is a city in the interior of the state of Alagoas, Brazil. The fact that this interior location exists means that the classrooms in the area do not embrace the educational technology resources available today to contribute to more active and dynamic lessons that could change the monotonous scenario of the classes that always take place here. When I obtained my Google Level II certification, I noticed even more how Google's technology applications could bring about a transformation in the classroom. I had already been using numerous other technology resources on a daily basis because I have always been faithful to the idea that technology is the future, but it is also the present, and schools cannot differ from what the contemporary world is. This gives the impression that the school is one world, and society and its necessary skills are another world, and this premise is not real.From there, GEG Penedo emerged with me, at the time a classroom teacher, and eight other members, also teachers. Today, I work in a technology company within the educational technology field, but I still actively participate in GEG with my colleagues. In addition to technological advancements in private school classrooms, we have also made strides in the municipal education system with a lot of technology and Chromebooks, showing that from the beginning, we were on the right path!"
