Google Docs
One of the most difficult parts of applying technology to the classroom is the give and take between time to instruct on how to use technology and the content that we need to hit to achieve our standards. With Google's Applied Digital Skills program, teachers can assign a lesson that will walk students through how to use Google's applications while remaining neutral on the content applications. This frees up teachers to let students rely on Google's lessons for help to create with the technology and to let the teacher work with students on classroom content.
Lessons are sorted by application (Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc.), Topic (English, Science, etc.) and Grade Level Band. With over 150 lessons to explore and use in class, there are many options for your classroom.
