Today's Resource Share comes from Google Arts and Culture. Calling In Our Coral is an active research project co-sponsored by Google Arts and Culture. In Calling In Our Coral, scientists share their research project of recording coral reefs to identify fish sounds. These sounds are then used to create layered recordings of fish and other underworld wildlife to draw them to coral reefs to help rehabilitate ecosystems. Students are presented with recordings from coral reefs around the world and are asked to identify when they hear a fish on the recording. It is a fun, simple activity that is actively helping scientists to rehabilitate coral reefs around the world. Check out this great project at the following link:

April 7th, 2023 - Updates to Google Drive

Today's Resource Share is an update to your Google Drive interface. One question I always get from educators is how do I better organize my Drive so that I can more easily find files and folders? Google just added a new update that will be rolling out over the next few weeks that will help us all find our files more easily. The update is called Smart Chips. These smart chips will be available at the top of your Google Drive page and allow you to quickly search by content type (Doc, Slides, Sites, etc.), people, and when the item was modified. Again these updates are coming in the next few weeks or are already updated in your Drive. You can learn more on this page:
