Week 5

WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK:

• "Taking Action" in our new unit: We Are One... (under the transdisciplinary theme: How We Organize Ourselves). Children completed their community buildings and celebrated by combining them into a town and country in our classroom!

• End of Year Classroom Celebrations!

WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK:

• Math Games: Children reviewed their skills by engaging in a variety of fluency/recall focused games.

WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK:

• Independent and partner reading time.

• Portfolios: Children added reflections to this Unit's work displayed in their GoogleSite E-Portfolios. Children also reviewed previous Units' reflections and added details where necessary. 

• ReadWorks: Children read passages and worked with their buddies to answer comprehension questions (Ms. Rosalind's Class)

اللغة العربية:  

.ـ تعرف الطلاب إلى النص الحواري (جدي يسألني عن أحلامي)، كما فرقوا بين القصص الخيالية والقصص الحقيقية

ـ مُراجعة أسلوبي التعجب والاستفهام عن طريق إجابة بعض التدريبات الصّفيّة.

.ـ  تم إرسال نسخة ورقية من الواجب مع الطلاب اليوم

 .ـ  تم إرسال قصة للاستماع إليها عن طريق موقع (أ ب ت) و الإجابة عن التمارين التفاعلية

.ـ أرجو إرسال القصص الورقية الموجودة مع الطلاب يوم الأحد

التربية الإسلامية

ـ تحدث الطلاب عن قدرة الله تعالى العظيمة وخلقه لجميع المخلوقات، وأيضًا رفع السماء بدون أعمدة.

ـ تلاوة سورة الليل.

• We made our own conversations about what we want and what we need in Arabic.

• We talked about what we want to be when we grow up with connections with places.
