WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK:
"Going Further" about our Unit: Every Child is an Artist: Students continued to view and respond to works of art, describing the various elements of art we have studied (line, shape, color, texture, pattern, tone). Students continued to explore the function of art and discussed the concept of an audience.
Beauty in Nature: Students learned about how artists find beauty in nature by creating drawings/descriptive writing pieces about a jungle and by drawing symmetrical insects.
Read Aloud: Mouse Shapes by Ellen Stoll Walsh: Students practiced identifying 2D shapes in the story and discussing whether or not they have vertical lines of symmetry.
WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK:
Geometry: Finding lines of symmetry on shapes and using lines of symmetry to complete shapes.

Independent and partner reading time: Strategies for reading with a partner (choral = reading in unison, seesaw = taking turns, echo = repeating what your partner reads).

اللغة العربية:
ـ تعرف الطلاب على هوية النص القصصي وعناصره من خلال نص (ليلى يَرْسُمُ وَطنًا)
ـ فرّق الطلاب بين اللام الشمسية والقمرية من خلال قراءة النص.
تم مُناقشة الوحدة البحثية "الفنون" من خلال التعرف على الشخصية الفنية (بيكاسو)، واستطاع الطلاب التحدث عن هوايتهم المفضلة بعد سماع جزء جديد من القصة.
كما تم مُناقشة الوحدة البحثية "الفنون" عن طريق مُشاهدة بعض اللأعمال الفنية وتقييمها
ملاحظة : ـ تم إرسال الواجب مع الطلاب اليوم داخل ملف اللغة العربية، كما تم إرسال قصة ورقية للقراءة وعرضها على زملائه في الأسبوع القادم
ـ تم إرسال قصة للقراءة اليوم على موقع (أ ب ت) + تمارين تفاعلية.

ـ تم الانتهاء من التسميع الفردي لسورة البينة من الآية (1) حتى اية (8)

We lesson to more than 1 story and we find out the elements of story.
This week we start our assessments each kids with their own stories and we talk about similarities and differences between stories through characters place time and problem and soliton also we learned how to compared by diagram.
We Learned more about Letter ج ش with new vocabulary related to the letters and Units.
Next week we will continue and try to prestaining together.

We have been figuring out the pitches in our song See Saw
We have been learning from each other
We can use pitch names to signal high and low sounds
We can use the Pitch Stairs to compose our own music
We can memorize and identify the pitches used in short melodies that we hear

We listened to the story of Vasily Kandinsky - the boy who could hear colour (synaesthesia)
We listened to the sounds of a Kandinsky painting
We listened to the sound of the 4 families of the orchestra - the strings, woodwind, brass and percussion.
We thought about the sound colour of each family.
We chose a colour for each sound and then we coloured our Kandinsky Circles
