WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK
"Sorting Out & Going Further" in our unit "Changes in Matter" - Students continued to explore, discuss and categorize various states of matter and begin to describe how they can change from one state to another.
Water Experiment - Children experimented with water beads and various containers to find out what happens when an absorbent material comes into contact with water. What changes? How do we know?
Rubber Egg Experiment (Ms. Diana's Class): Students observed an egg in vinegar each day for 3 days. The vinegar dissolved the egg shell. As the shell dissolved in vinegar it began to bubble and the egg yolk hardened into a solid state.
