Week 2

WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK

• "Sorting Out" and "Going Further" in our new unit: We Are One... (under the transdisciplinary theme: How We Organize Ourselves). Children discussed: what is a community?, studied the characteristics of different types of communities, and created mind maps of their own communities (families, neighborhoods, cities).

• Studyladder certificates:  Some of the PyP 2 Duqum students receive Studyladder certificates for their hard work on the platform. Bronze certificates for over 100 points, Silver Certificates for over 250 points and Gold Certificates for over 500 points.

WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK:

• Multiplication & Division: making equal groups (grouping & sharing), dividing by 2, doubling and halving. 

WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK:

• Independent and partner reading time.

• Spelling: Revision. Students used a variety of classroom materials to learn words by heart.

I would like to share our Arabic outcomes for this week:

• We will know the difference between She, He, I, We and how we can change it with verbs.

• We learn new verbs to write paragraphs about our daily routine at the end of the year.

•  We start to do our project on google slide about  what we need and what we want .

• We made our own conversations about what we want and what we need in Arabic.
