Unit of Inquiry

WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK

Mother Tongue Day (February 21st). Children came to school wearing a word in their mother tongue and shared books written in their mother tongue with their peers.
"Tuning In" to our new unit: Our Green Friends (under the transdisciplinary theme: Sharing the Planet), children discussed what they know and wonder about plants.
Parts of plants - Children identified and studied the parts of a plant. Students drew pictures of plants and labeled them to show their thinking.

WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK:

Addition and Subtraction: 10 more, 10 less, adding 10 and subtracting 10. Making 100 in many many ways!
100th Day of School (February 23rd): Children dressed up under the theme of 100 days or years!

WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK:

Students used a variety of classroom materials to learn sounds/words by heart and write sentences.

إليكم ما تم دراسته هذا الأسبوع

اللغة العربية:

ـ استطاع الطلاب التفريق بين بعض أنواع الأساليب (التعجب/ الأمر/ النهي/ النفي) من خلال لُعبة التصنيف.

ـ توظيف أدوات النفي (ما / لا / لم / لن ) في عبارات تامة.

ـ كما استطاع الطلاب إيجاد أمثلة تُعبر عن كل أسلوب.

ملاحظة: تم إرسال واجب ورقي اليوم مع الطلاب + تم إرسال واجب إلكتروني داخل جوجل كلاس رووم لإجابة بعض التحديات

ـ تم إرسال قصة ورقية للقراءة وعرضها على زملائه في الأسبوع القادم

ـ تم إرسال قصة للقراءة اليوم على موقع (أ ب ت) + تمارين تفاعلية.

التربية الإسلامية

ـ تم الانتهاء من التسميع الفردي للجزء الأول من سورة الضحى.

تعرف الطلاب على الصلوات المفروضة على كل مُسلم وترتيبها وعدد ركعاتها، وكذلك تم حفظ دعاء الاستفتاح

This week we started our new unit all about plants. Children learned:

How to ask and answer what we need to grow? Like the sun, water, seeds, air and soil.
How to explore the plants around school. We found the difference between leaves (big, small, tall, short).
How to draw what we see in the garden and name the parts of plants.
How to plant some seeds in the school garden and next week we will plant in the classroom.
