Week 6

WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK:

• "Taking Action" in our unit "Changes in Matter" - Children used their research skills to answer the questions they posed at the start of the unit.

• Children performed a concluding experiment to investigate the conditions that cause changes in matter. (PyP2 Muttrah)

• Soap Bubbles Experiment -Students investigate how normal water is bound together by a kind of “skin” at the top. This surface tension and it is too tight to allow you blow bubbles. When you add soap to normal water, you stretch the skin enough to form bubbles. (PyP 2 Duqm)

WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK:

• Multiplication: Recognizing equal groups, adding equal groups, recognizing the multiplication symbol.

WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK:

• Independent and partner reading time.

• Spelling: Irregular Plurals continued - Students continued to practice recognizing and using irregular plurals in sentences.

اللغة العربية:  

ـ مُراجعة أفكار نص (هل يُحب سامح النصائح؟) + مُراجعة أسلوب (الاستفهام) من خلال بعض الأنشطة الصّفية.

ـ قام الطلاب بترتيب أحداث النص، كما قاموا بتوظيف علامات الترقيم داخل بعض الفقرات.

ـ  تم إرسال الواجب مع الطلاب + قطعة الإملاء.

        ـ  تم إرسال قصة ورقية للقراءة داخل ملف اللغة العربية + إرسال قصة للاستماع إليها عن طريق موقع (أ ب ت) و الإجابة عن التمارين التفاعلية.

تم استكمال أنشطة درس (أُطيع رسولي محمد -صلى الله عليه وسلم) 

ـ معرفة أسماء بنات وأولاد الرسول-صلى الله عليه وسلم- من خلال درس السيدة خديجة-رضي الله عنها-

Grade 2 have played a variety of team possession games. Another in that students had to think about their positioning and decide on a team plan on who is going to defend their treasure and who will attack and steal more.
