Production Summative – Photo essay
Due on Friday, November 6-2020 at midnight.
This is an individual project.
For your photography summative, you are going to use photography to explore some aspect of how you are coping in this covid pandemic. It should concentrate on relationships and feature activities or things you do to survive. Things like playing video games, board games, watching TV, sports, hanging out with others in your family bubble, reading, cooking, doing school work, or even your daydreams.
Remember your posing, lighting, expressions, CAST and composition. Finally, you should have a beginning, middle and end. You can include conflict to create suspense or drama.
Your photo essay must have a minimum of eight – 8 images, a maximum of 12. All images must be:
• be taken at your home or within your neighbourhood bubble
• have a photo caption
edited in your favourite photo editing app
Complete a written description of the following:
a) description of what you are going to produce
b) why you chose this particular theme
c) open message – not for each photo but the whole photo essay;
d) hidden message – not for each photo but the whole photo essay;
e) camera angle and shot type (CAST)
