Summative – Beyond Snap Studio Portfolio

We obviously cannot do this summative, so I will prepare something new.

Pick a theme such as smiling, funny or other types of faces, hand gestures (not obscene) or using tools. You can also pick your own theme. If you are lost, check out the Jumpology pictures by Philippe Halsman. In all your photos, make sure you show the person’s face.

Write a description of your theme including 2 reasons why before you start shooting.

Photograph 40 or 50 head and shoulder photos or medium shots of your fellow grade 10 Com Tech students doing something that reflects your theme. All your photos should contain about half male students and the remaining half female.

Import your 10 best images into Photoshop and do the basic Photoshop edits.

Assemble your 10 best photos in a slide show for marking.

Add a cover slide to make it look pretty. Include:

1. your name,
2. theme,
3. date .

Include a second slide for your:

1. theme and your 2 reasons for choosing it
2. the message you want to send to your audience.

You can use either Power Point. Sheets, Docs, or Windows Photo Viewer.
