Objective: Identify major air pollutants
Leading Question: What are the 4 major air pollutants?
Components of Air
Create a pie chart showing percentages of gases in our air in your interactive notebooks
Greenhouse Gases
Follow along with the Greenhouse Gas slide show.
With a partner read about one of the greenhouse gases and make a poster that includes a picture, where the gas comes from and what can be done to reduce it
Discuss the greenhouse effect

Objective: Describe global warming
Leading Question: What is global warming?
Global Warming
Complete the Bathtub Thoughts Handout.
Watch the video Global Warming.
Use the NASA website to learn more about climate change. Read the "Facts" sections labeled "Evidence" and "Causes". Answer the following questions in your notebooks and submit a picture in google classroom by midnight:
What evidence do we have proving global warming?
What is the greenhouse effect?
What are the greenhouse gases?
What have humans done to impact climate change?
Do you think there is such a thing as climate change?
Create 4 original drawings in your notebook or digitally designed showing the four major pollutants. Under each of the drawings, write one sentence that explains where this pollution comes from and what can be done to improve air quality. Submit your drawings in google classroom by midnight.

Objective: Determine ways to reduce air pollution
Leading Question: How can we prevent air pollution?
SAE Project
Submit your signed SAE agreement.
Make an experience journal entry (identify how much time you spent doing your SAE and explain what you did)
All SAE's should be started this week.
