The Functions of a Plant
Complete a KWL about plants. Make 3 columns in your notebook with the first column labeled as know, second column as Think I know and third column as Want to Learn. Then put ideas about plants in these three columns.
Research the plant parts: roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits or seeds. Then create a picture that describes the function of the plant part without drawing the actual structure of the part of using words.
The class will try to identify the plant part you had and then you will explain the functions of the plant part.
