CIT- eA Project

The CIT- eA project (Creating Innovative Technology – enhanced Assessments) was a project led by the college together with the Scottish Qualification Agency and Jisc, together with a group of Scottish FE colleges. It was a little unusual in EdTech terms in that it placed a great deal of emphasis on understanding the systemic factors affecting the uptake of EdTech. The project introduced the ADDIE instructional system design model to the FE sector and ideas relating to the use of systems theory and learning design patterns. These were, and still are, advanced concepts in relation to EdTech in the UK HE and FE systems.
