The Badges Toolkit Trial

This Badges Toolkit Trial was a small exploratory project conducted with the international design company SNOOK Ltd. Snook were keen to involve us in their project as we had some innovative ideas to try out that were new in this field. Digital badges for education have been around for some time, since they  were introduced by Mozilla. Up until now they have been mostly used for certifying soft skills or CPD but never for ‘proper’ academic qualifications. We explored this idea with some success but released that what we needed was a more robust infrastructure. This in turn led us to start the My Skills Blockchain Project for digital certificates.
