OneFile Roles and Keychains
A centre is a self-contained version of OneFile for one of the college’s faculties or departments and each centre has several different user roles that allow access to different parts of the system.
Common roles:
Faculty Managers: maintain centres, check new qualifications, create users and templates.
Assessors: support and evaluate learners, create assessment plans, assess and annotate learners' work, conduct learner reviews.
Internal Verifiers: check assessments are compliant, create sample policies and plans, conduct sampling of assessment types.
Learners: upload evidence to fulfil learning criteria, start some assessments.
To request a OneFile account, you need to contact your faculty allocated Learning Technologist by specifying your role in Onefile, e.g. Assessor, Centre Manager etc. We will create the relevant account and send you the login details. Once logged in, you can create a Keychain.
As a staff member, you may be assigned more than one role. If this is the case, you will have separate accounts for each role. To make it easier for you to manage your account log-ins, we recommend that you create a OneFile Keychain. This will allow you to access all of your accounts with one username and password.
