Microsoft Teams for Staff & Education

Microsoft Teams is a service that offers video conferencing, chat, collaboration and the integration of many educational apps and services, including Canvas, the new College VLE. Teams is now available for staff and students at the College. Educators can use Microsoft Teams to create collaborative classrooms, connect with learners, and communicate in staff teams - all from a single experience in Office 365.

We recommend downloading the Teams app (desktop or mobile) for the best user experience.

Signing in to Microsoft Teams

Sign-in to Microsoft Teams using your College email address and password. Every class will have a Team set up automatically by IT and the relevant Curriculum Head will be able to make the class lecturer a team owner. Staff Teams are also created by IT on request.

To request a new staff Team, or for additional support, contact - ITservicedesk@cityofglasgowcollege.ac.uk

Lecturers can add and remove students from their Class Teams (make sure to contact students before you add/remove them).
