Active Learning Classrooms

Active learning classrooms at City and Riverside Campuses 

Three new active learning classrooms have been created and are now available for use. Located at both City and Riverside campuses, these rooms are intended to be used for active and connected classroom learning, supporting digitally enabled group work and hybrid teaching. The rooms contain:

The rooms are C.03.098, C.03.099 and R.01.014. Each have a capacity of 24 and the classrooms at City Campus can be booked here, for Riverside Campus please email Fiona Prior. The LTA will provide technical and pedagogical support in using the spaces effectively


In addition, the existing Virtual Learning Lab (VLL), situated on level 3 of the library at City campus (also with a capacity of 24), has moved. The VLL is available for booking here. The VLL is equipped to support staff development. 


If you want some hands on sessions to boost your digital confidence around using our core technologies book a session in the VLL by email learningtechnologies@cityofglasgowcollege.ac.uk.

Staff can also access information on up-and-coming webinars from the Book a Webinar page and can request tailored sessions with their Faculty Assigned Learning Technologists who can offer focused course options. There are many help guides to support independent learning of the Tools too, which can be found within each tile below.
