H5P allows lecturers to create a variety of interactive activities including presentations with embedded quizzes; complex drag-and-drops; interactive videos that automatically pause to ask students questions.

Update

You will not be able to create new H5P content in Canvas. If necessary, you can bring legacy H5P projects created in Moodle into Canvas courses. We recommend that you do not use H5P to create new content. Learning Technologies can offer alternative solutions using ClickView, Flipgrid, Canvas Quizzes, and more. Please consult the guide Using a SCORM H5P Wrapper to import content into Canvas, or contact learningtechnologies@cityofglasgowcollege.ac.uk for support.

Interactive Book - put together large amounts of interactive content like interactive videos, questions, course presentations and more on multiple pages.

Flash Cards

The Flashcards content type is a set of cards containing a picture on one side of the card and a corresponding text on the other side. The learner is asked to type a word or expression corresponding to the picture, before turning the card over and revealing the correct answer.

Interactive Video

Interactive video content type allowing users to add multiple choice and fill in the blank questions, pop-up text and other types of interactions to their videos using only a web browser.

Course Presentation

Presentation content type which allows users to add multiple choice questions, fill in the blanks, text, and other types of interactions to their presentations using only a web browser.
