Pre-activity safety briefing

• The Guide explains that all waste is carried out of the field and disposed of in an appropriate facility; including food waste

• The Guide identifies where and when garbage bags are setup for activity sites

Conduct and supervise the activity

• The Guide sets up garbage bags at an appropriate time and location for the activity

• The Guide carries (and/or delegates) all rubbish for later disposal

• The Guide conducts a rubbish sweep upon departure from any activity or camp sites

Conclude the activity and return equipment

• The Guide ensures all waste has been disposed of appropriately
