The MyAdventure Group provided adequate supplies of drinking water to participants. All drinking water is sourced from a mains water connection provided by the Blue Mountains Council.
Bulk supplies are provided in 20lt food grade water drums, taps or spouts are provide to assist with decanting into smaller bottles.
Participants are required to provide two 1lt personal water bottles for use during the activities.

Taps or spouts are provided for decanting into personal water bottles
If we are running a proper multiday wilderness program and the only option is to source water from natural sources it is advised to follow these precautions:

The Guide advises Participants consume an adequate amount of water appropriate to the weather conditions and anticipated level of physical intensity;
As a minimum participants are encouraged to consume 2lt of water per day
During times of physical activity Participants are encouraged to consume 600ml prior to the commencement of activities and up to 1lt per hour during strenuous physical activity
The Guide articulates the early signs and symptoms of dehydration; headache, fatigue, flushed skin or thirst
Participants are advised to consume water from their own water bottle and/or a clean cup; cross contamination is avoided by NOT drinking directly from shared water supplies
The Guide ensures bulk supplies of drinking water are readily available
The Guide provides opportunities for drink breaks at appropriate intervals
The Guide reminds Participants to drink an appropriate amount of water
The Guide monitors Participants for the early signs and symptoms of dehydration; headache, fatigue, flushed skin or thirst
The Guide discourages the consumption of water directly from natural sources
20lt water drums are emptied and stored inverted with the lid removed
Damaged or contaminated water drums are removed from use and recycled
