MAG programs are conducted in a collaborative, cooperative, and caring environment where choice is made by the individual and not as a result of peer pressure.
Participants are invited to participate voluntarily in all activities and challenges of a MAG program.
A participant’s decision to not participate in an activity is respected by others in the group and the Guides.
Participants are encouraged to set their own goals and definition of success.
MAG programs encourage individuals to develop and maintain an “internal center of control” from which individuals choose how they wish to engage in the challenges offered during the program.
