Dear Summerside Families,
Our district vision: TOGETHER, as one community, we learn, lead, and succeed, is lived out every day at Summerside and throughout all of West Clermont Schools. Celebrating #LOVE WC week together gives evidence of the futures we are fostering together. West Clermont is excited to announce our second annual State of the Schools Showcase on March 4, 2025, from 6-8 PM at West Clermont High School! The event is free and open to everyone in our community and will feature students from all of our elementary schools, middle school, and high school!
The night will begin with an opening keynote by Superintendent Natasha Adams, followed by student learning exhibition booths, performances by student music groups, and a visual arts showcase! Following the keynote in the auditorium, guests will have the opportunity to explore/visit the exhibition booths, watch the performances, and browse the artwork. During the student learning exhibition booths, students will showcase their learning and learning journey and share their projects/example work. The Student Learning Exhibition and Arts Showcase is an opportunity for everyone in our community to deepen their understanding of how the West Clermont Portrait of a Graduate comes to life across our district! You won't want to miss it!
The WC Connect Us Winter newsletter is now out! You can read all about the happenings within the West Clermont School District here at our website.
You also may have gotten this newsletter in your mailbox. We do want to note that on the very back page under the "Did You Know?" section in the version that was mailed home the date of the ballot issue was incorrect. The correct date is May 6, 2025.

As you may know one of our big communication focuses for 2025 is producing and sharing more stories about West Clermont. We want to highlight the great things happening in our district and what sets us apart but we need your help to make this a reality! Please send us stories that you know of (happening in your classrooms, school buildings, sports, extracurriculars, the arts, alumni, community partnerships, etc ) that you think would make a great story for us to highlight. We are looking for stories that not only showcase our strengths as a district but ones that also have a human connection. You can upload photos/videos/and information about your story idea/submission. We may use them in various ways - they could be used as longer stories (see below) or as shorts on social media. The more information (WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, HOW) helps us out.
Here’s how to upload:
