Dear Summerside Families, 

It was a fun week at Summerside! Students worked hard and also enjoyed spirit week filled with fun activities. Classroom teachers planned themed activities to align with instruction, music and gym combined to incorporate music with movement and in Discovery students experimented with candy canes. Enjoy time with family and friends over the winter break. We look forward to jumping back in on January 6, 2025!

SPIRIT WEEK

Dear fifth grade parents/guardians:

Save the date: May 9th, 2025

We are excited to announce this year’s 5th grade field trip will be to COSI in Columbus! In addition, students will stop at The Ohio Statehouse, the state capitol building and seat of government for the U.S. state of Ohio. Students will be bussed to Columbus for the day and experience science and social studies through interactive learning experiences. This trip will require students to be transported outside of school hours. More information will be released after the first of the year! It is going to be a day to remember!
