Stop when you come to a word you haven't heard before or for which you don’t know the meaning. Pick up on clues in the text or from the picture that might help you guess at what the word means. Think about how it fit with the title or what’s happening, and what kind of word it is (positive or negative). Put all of that together to infer its meaning!
