Today in our meet, we discussed 2D shapes and 3D objects. Watch Miss Spurling's video beside to revise.
Then watch the detectives search for different 3D shapes beside. Take note of how they describe each 3D shape.
Choose a 3D shape. Draw it and write as many things as you can about it.
Example,
This is a cube.
It has square faces.
All the faces are the same.
Some boxes are cubes.
Challenge yourself by finding how many faces, edges and vertices (these are the points) your shape has.
Example,
A cube has 8 vertices.
A cube has 6 faces.
A cube has 12 edges.
