Today we read 'Plants with Traps' by Pauline Cartwright and talked about the main idea on each page (box) and what supporting details (bullets) there are.
Using the activity sheet beside, work out what the main idea of the pages are. Then find the supporting details that relate to the main idea.

By the door there is an umbrella. It is big. It is so big that when it starts to rain there is room for everyone underneath. It doesn't matter if you are tall, or plaid or hairy. It doesn't matter how many legs you have. Don't worry that there won't be enough room under the umbrella. There will always be room.
The Big Umbrella by Amy and Juniper Bates teaches us about inclusion. What does inclusion mean to you? How do feel when you include someone else in a game or conversation? How do you feel when someone else includes you?
Write a procedure about how to be an inclusive friend!
